She started her early years selling and teaching in an area where I grew up, so I felt a bit of kinship to her early days. Would love to read her book and learn more about her story! I purchased fabric at the retail shop on one of our trips and think of Nancy each time I see it hanging on my sewing room wall. She rekindled my love for sewing and I learned a great deal from her. What a lady & yes, Ive shed some tears over her passing way too soon! I grew up watching Nancys show and her calm, assurance inspired me throughout the last several decades. However, upon reading Seams Unlikely, I felt an even closer connection to Nancy. I read the first book and would love to read (own) the second. Nancy Zieman made even the most difficult of sewing tasks seem within my reach. Nancy's Notions was purchased by the Tacony Corporation of St. Louis, Missouri, in 2003. Nancys story made me feel that if she could cope with her health problems, I could certainly learn to cope and get along with my vision loss. I miss those days of Sewing with Nancy. God bless!
